There are new things around us all the time – we are bombarded with the ‘new’, invited to buy a new car, house, or just new ‘stuff’!

‘New’ is an important Bible word. Through the old and new testament the word ‘new’ is a theme that recurs over 200 times. We read about new wine, new grain, new songs, new covenant, new creation. At the end of the Bible we have this promise, ‘Behold I am making everything new’ (Revelation 21:5).

New Roots has used the word ‘new’ on purpose. Here Bob Callaghan, one of the founders of New Roots reflects on this word and invites us on an adventure.
