Each year, the scholarship awards $2,500 to one applicant who best answers the given year’s business-related essay prompt in under 300 words. The scholarship is offered by Kitchen Cabinet Kings, a leading supplier of kitchen and bathroom cabinets nationwide.

Are you a female student with a passion for entrepreneurship? Each cycle, the scholarship awards U.S. $2,000 to a female high school or college student who has, or wishes to, start their own online business. The scholarship is awarded twice a year, with deadlines on March 15th and September 15th. 

Are you a current or incoming undergraduate student who is undocumented or has DACA status? Further, are you pursuing a degree or career in a STEM, nursing, or business-related field? If so, you may be eligible for the Golden Door Scholarship! 

Are you a high school or college student pursuing a marketing, business, or graphic design-related certification or degree?  Each year, the scholarship awards $5,000 to the top applicant who either (1) creates an overview video that will be used to promote this contest in the future, (2) creates a stunning visual portrait of a college student at graduation, or (3) visually depicts the revolutionary new technology (Generative AI) in a picture or video. 

The PMI Founders Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate students working on a bachelor’s degree in a field related to project management.

The Surety Bond Authority Scholarship is calling all aspiring Accounting, Banking, Finance, or business-related degree seekers to showcase their passion and dedication through a 500-1,000 word essay explaining why they want to or have chosen a career in their field. Hey, speaking of unique internship opportunities — at building-u, we are always looking for high school students to join our crew in a variety of roles.  We believe that in a world where everything about the lives of students is changing rapidly, you should have a chance to be involved in strategizing and decision-making in an organization that is dedicated to creating useful resources for your future. The organization is fundamentally focused on building a database of free and helpful resources for students in the form of opportunities, internships, scholarships, contests, and education programs for students 

The Department of Education offers a variety of internships across a broad spectrum of fields, including business-friendly areas like Human Resources Management, Project Management, and Training and Development. Positions are intended to provide participants with real-world experience, develop personal and professional skills, and provide insight into potential career paths. Internships are available in three sessions—fall, winter/spring, and summer—throughout the year to students 16 and older attending accredited institutions, such as high schools. 

Another virtual platform, Forage provides opportunities for “bite-sized” (5-6 hour) project-based internships with companies such as JP Morgan, Lululemon, Red Bull, and more. These job simulations build real-life skills and offer windows into various companies.

LinkedIn offers a variety of internship opportunities through its LinkedIn Internship Program, which connects students with companies across different industries. The platform allows high school and college students to discover internships based on their location, interests, and skills. Additionally, LinkedIn offers networking opportunities where students can connect with industry professionals, attend webinars, and enhance their resumes through courses on LinkedIn Learning. 

Our programs, delivered by Financial Wellbeing Coaches, are here to EDUCATE you on what you need to know, COACH you through putting what you learn into practice and CONNECT you to the resources you need to keep doing it. Operation HOPE has a series of programs to support your path to successfully managing your money, owning a home, starting a business, or recovering from a disaster (hurricane, tornado, fire, pandemic, etc.). In addition to working with adults, we also offer a program to support youth. Our programs and services are offered at no cost to the client.

This scholarship celebrates Jessie Koci’s achievements by seeking out others cut from a similar cloth who seek to carve their own path by starting their own business.

Any current high school senior or freshman in college who is interested in higher education to support their entrepreneurial aspirations may apply for this scholarship.  

The 10X Digital Marketing Scholarship is funded by 10x Digital, a digital marketing agency offering the full scope of digital and traditional marketing services. Every year, their 10x Digital Marketing Scholarship awards $4,000 to one (1) high school senior or undergraduate who majors (or plans to major) in a field related to digital marketing. Applicants must plan to take at least 10 credit hours during the Fall 2024 semester. Applicants must also provide a 500 word essay regarding life story, intended field of study, career and how you specifically will make an impact on the world.
